THE INSPIRE STORY
“We’re casual, contemporary, and Bible-centered.”
You’ll hear these words nearly every week at worship at Inspire. They capture who we are and help newcomers understand what Inspire is all about.
Inspire was planted in October of 2017 by its pastors and spouses, Jim and Sue Kennon and Bryan and Terry Hitch. The church quickly found its identity as a church designed for the retired and retiring baby-boomers living in, and moving into the Sun City West area. Our identity is why we gladly embrace the phrase, “casual, contemporary, and Bible-centered.”
WE'RE CASUAL
We are truly a “come as you are” church. From day one, Inspire has encouraged people to be who they are and then allow God to help them become who they’ve been created to be. Shorts, tee shirts, and flip flops for worship? Sure, why not? Something a little dressier? Great! We’ve been intentional in creating a casual atmosphere where people can be
comfortable being who they are.
WE'RE CONTEMPORARY
When you worship at Inspire, you’ll experience contemporary worship that’s upbeat, uplifting, and of high quality. But our contemporary identity extends beyond worship. It is our desire to help people connect their faith and life in an authentic way that speaks to and into our culture.
WE'RE BIBLE CENTERED
From day one, Inspire was planted with a commitment to the Bible. We’re passionate about helping men and women grow as disciples of Jesus. We take the Great Commission to heart – to make disciples, baptizing people and teaching them to obey all Jesus has commanded. What is so exciting about Inspire is that God is still writing our story. Everyday we’re discovering new opportunities to experience God’s amazing grace and love. Every week we witness people meeting Jesus and growing as disciples. We invite you to join the story God is writing in our lives.
